In honor of the NCAA National Champion Men’s Basketball team, I have been all sorts of inspired this week by all things blue. Congrats to Coach Calipari and his Kentucky Wildcats for coming out 38-2 and defeating Kansas in the National Title game. Let’s have a serious chat about this Kentucky Blue shall well? I would have to say that there aren’t very many colors that are flattering on everyone, but this Kentucky Blue is one of those “sisterhood of the traveling pants” color; it looks good on everyone! On one of my recent “research” trips, I came across some “trends that won’t break the bank”. Starting with this AUH-mazing blazer from H&M. If you haven’t caught on at this point, I have a dedicated section in my closet to blazers…its like the rainbow connection. I found this missing piece to the puzzle at H&M; the best part about this blazer is that the cut looks “boy-friend” esque, but is well fitted to your figured.

As you know, its no secret at this point…..I have an unhealthy obsession with colored pants; is there a colored pants anonymous? My inventory has increased significantly, so much so that I needed to invest in a new dresser…….the word PURGE means nothing to me…..absolutely nothing 🙂 This colored pant movement is all the rage and I am a full supporter. Try these blue slacks by ASOS. Wear them casually or to work. Either way they posses the versatility to achieve both.
Oh my God…..shoes. Please tell me you have seen that video…..Bueller? Target has all sorts of tricks up their sleeves, and like to surprise us when we least suspect it. I know what you are thinking, what would I pair these shoes with? Im thinking, what wouldn’t you pair them with……..seriously though. Wear these out on a Friday night with a skinny pant or wear them to work with a skirt or dress. Think of these shoes as an accessory; you want to give your spectators that unexpected Hail Mary!
