One Stop Shop

Sticking with my theme for the week AND this tropical weather that has graced the midwest quite early this season, I’m all giddy about my Spring/Summer wardrobe. Let’s not hope that it’s not toying with our emotions……it’s not nice toy with a girls emotions you know! As I sit here watching my Mountaineers lose, understatement, to Gonzaga, Im in the need of a serious pick me up! What better than my favorite Spring/Summer one stop shop……dresses!

Last year I put too much pressure on my closet to hold my ever growing collection of clothes. It failed me and I failed it. I came home one day to a pile of silks and dry wall. My heart sunk into my stomach and I shed my first tear in years. Thanks to the Container Store, I now have a closet made of titanium and a whole wall dedicated to dresses. Now I have been known to convert a friend or two from pants to dresses (Insert comment from my girl Becca – I get joy when she texts me every time she adds a dress to her collection); the secret….one stop shop. Who wants to waste time getting ready in the morning…not me. I want to sleep/snooze for as along as I can and then run out to door. With dresses, the thinking is done for you! Don’t over analyze when shopping for a dress either, its really much more simpler than it seems.

The Spring/Summer season is the off-season for most, but for me its the height of my season. Traveling for pre-season soccer tours and preparing for the 2012 season to kick-off in August, so when Im on the go, I like to travel light.
For those who work in sports know that a dress needs movement, it needs to be long enough so that your Britney doesn’t show when picking up a 20lb box and it has to withstand perspiration from running around like a chicken with your head cut off! Is that too much for a girl to ask for?

Check out some of my seasons favorites! Happy Friday!
