Game Day Must Haves – Amy Ufnowski – Marquette University

Fresh breath seems like a no-brainer, right, because let’s face it, bad breath is disgusting. On game days I am always interacting with countless members of the media, colleagues, game-day staff, coaches and student-athletes, and while it’s not so convenient to brush your teeth at the arena after the pre-game meal, popping an Altoid (or two) is the prefect substitute. While gum is great in most scenarios, the last thing I want is to be caught chewing like a cow during a television broadcast when sitting at the scorer’s table during men’s and women’s basketball games. Altoids provide minty fresh breath and are easily concealed. No chomping required.
