So the other day I was undergoing my quarterly closet purge and I stumbled across this adorable accordion pleated black skirt from Banana Republic. I quickly put it on and desperately tried to make it work with every blouse I own! The solution to my problem….a great tailoring job. A great tailoring job can bring any piece back to life from the dead! The skirt sat about two inches below my knee and made my 5’5 stature appear to be even shorter. Now, the skirt hangs one inch above my knee and magically matches my wardrobe!

Yesterday I paired the revived skirt with an ivory lace 3/4 top, black opaque tights and my blue suede shoes. This was the best cure to a turkey hangover!
