Comfortable, Practical, Fashionable, OH MY!

Today I offer you the most valuable research I have collected to date….comfortable, practical and fashionable shoes. This is an urban myth no longer, I have since obtained the illusive unicorn and I am here to share my findings with you.
While working at Soldier Field, I was constantly on my feet especially during Chicago Bears games. When you have a call time of 5:30am for a 12:00pm kick-off, the last thing you want to worry about is what you are going to wear, let alone what shoes will get you through your 12 hour day! Im a one shoe wonder kind of girl, and loathe having to bring a second pair of shoes to switch into half-way through the day…..my qualifications for shoes are as non-negotiable as my qualifications for a man 🙂
During my years at Soldier Field, I had collected a vast collection of shoes that would be known as my “game-day” shoes. If you work in the industry, you know exactly what I am talking about. No one gets joy out of shoe shopping and having to ask the sales person where the comfortable shoes are located, only to have them direct you to an area where women 60 and over are trying on shoes. Ugh, sigh!
Out of curiosity, one game, I wore a pedometer to track the number of steps/miles I accrued in one game.  At the end of the day, I reached down to grab my pedometer to find that I had walked a total of 10 MILES!!! 12 hour day, divided by 10 miles of walking, equates to .80 miles an hour. Is that normal? Probably not! Who walks 10 miles in one day at work and isn’t a gym teacher! Boom!
Below are a list of my most coveted babies (for a $119 or less). Now sure, Ive gone through a few pairs of each, but when you’re putting double digits worth of miles on a pair shoes, they are bound to run away some time!  You are welcome in advance; consider the shopping done for you!
