Friends, I am on my way to New York today for a work event and I can’t wait! The best part about my job is getting the opportunity to travel and see an event come to fruition! Be sure to check out my Instastories and follow along – I’ll be sharing some of my favorite spots in the New York and a peek in to our super exciting event with Manchester United! Being that it’s the first day of spring, I’m wearing one of my favorite spring trends – tweed!! This White Striped Trim Frayed Tweed Jacket is the perfect spring accessory for under $40 – the white tweed and gold buttons make for a great combo!
Shop the LOOK:

Silk Cami – A great layering piece from H&M thats under $20.
H&M Denim – Love these jeans and wear them ALL the time!

Now that it’s OFFICIALLY the first day of spring, it’s only right to kick it off on the right foot! Tweed and denim, as if I don’t wear them all the time, are the perfect spring combo! Gone are the days of big clunky outerwear, helloooooo lightweight outerwear. This White Striped Trim Frayed Tweed Jacket from Shein will be in the rotation weekly – did I mention that it’s only $40! Such a steal! I know a lot of people are worried about shopping on Shein, but please take my word for it, this jacket is as described.
My only advice on Shein would be to read all the reviews and check out the photos that people post in the reviews. If it doesn’t have a review or customer photo, that might be one to overlook. Just a little friendly advice on the brand 🙂
For an easy day around the city, I styled this White Striped Trim Frayed Tweed Jacket with this gorgeous H&M silk cami. I’m a BIG fan of these silk camis – they come in a few different colors and are really great pieces for layering. Recently I’ve been pairing them with blazers for work to add a little chic to my corporate look. Check out the other colors here.
Speaking of work, these pointed toe block heels have solved all my unfashionable commuting problems. I haven’t been able to find a good nude shoe that has a decent heel, but not one too tall that I can’t walk 10 city blocks in them. A good nude pump is always worth the investment and these are just under $150. The pointy toe really helps elongate my 5’5 legs, and hey, I need all the help I can get!
Happy first day of Spring!
