I’m super excited that the weekend is here! This weekend we are off on our final vacation of the summer and it involves a LOT of wine and cheese 🙂 Be sure to follow along in Instagram (here) and Snapchat (@mkSportsanista) to see where we are headed and what I packed for my trip! We love traveling – we probably spend more time traveling and on a plane than we do at home. Life is too short, so pack your bags and head somewhere! When traveling overseas it’s all about being comfortable on those long leg flights. Over the summer we flew to China several times so I learned from my own mistakes on what works and what doesn’t! Todays look is about is as comfortable and soft as you get in a travel look. This look from Mott 50 is the epitome of travel fashion.Mott 50 Open Cardigan, Travel Fashion, Quay Sunglasses, Chicago Fashion Blogger, Stan Smith AdidasI’m super picky about what I wear on a plane – I try to walk that thin line of dressing up and not wear sweatpants. I generally will go to the airport in an easy dress and then change on the plane so that I’m nice and comfortable. Being comfortable on a plane is the answer to ALL your sleeping troubles on a plane – well at least mine 🙂 This look from Mott 50 is perfect in so many ways and can be worn together or separately. This cardigan is a dream – it’s a super soft cotton, which is a great alternative to those scratchy blankets on a plane. The pants are just the same. Once I flew in a wool jumpsuit because it “looked” comfortable – about 6 hours in to the flight my ass was itching like crazy from the wool. What was I thinking!!! Learn from my mistakes please :)[ezcol_1half]Mott 50 Open Cardigan, Travel Fashion, Quay Sunglasses, Chicago Fashion Blogger, Stan Smith Adidas[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]Mott 50 Open Cardigan, Travel Fashion, Quay Sunglasses, Chicago Fashion Blogger, Stan Smith Adidas[/ezcol_1half_end]Once I’m all settle in and comfortable, next comes my in-flight ritual, which is no different than my nightly routine. Why switch it up because you are on a plane right? First things first, you need a great neck pillow and eye mask. For me, I get irritable within the first hour if my neck isn’t supported and my spine  is all out of whack. I just re-read that sentence and it make me feel very old. Ugh. This neck pillow and eye mask is perfection – I need to black the F out right away and get laser focused on sleeping. Most international flights keep the lights on for a good two hours to do food service etc. Nope – its light outs for me!Mott 50 Open Cardigan, Travel Fashion, Quay Sunglasses, Chicago Fashion Blogger, Stan Smith AdidasNext I head to the bathroom to do my nightly routine which consists of brushing my teeth, removing my make-up, washing my face, hydrating with some serum and removing my contacts. I LOVE this toothbrush that I scored from Nordstrom – it’s a travel mechanical toothbrush that is under $20. My teeth have never felt cleaner. Being on an airplane makes you super dehydrated so it’s important to hydrate by drinking water and applying a great serum, like this, on your face. Keeping your skin hydrated means no dress skin and less breakouts! Winning! Before I doze off, I pop an airborne and then apply some lip balm (this stuff is like crack). These underarm wipes  are the answer to all your organic deodorant prayers. They are easy to use, they smell great and are disposable! I generally do a quick brush of my teeth with these whisps – I just need a quick fix until I arrive at the hotel. I pep up the dark circles with this caffeinated eye cream from H2O and so I don’t look ghostly went crossing the boarder I add a little tint to my cheek with this product. No one is the wiser – you can just say, “I woke up like this.”
