Greetings from Doha friends! Being in Doha kickoff the start of our honeymoon and we couldn’t be more thrilled! We planned this trip months ago and it’s finally here! We are in Doha for a quick stopover before we head to the Maldives and then to the tea farms in Sri Lanka! Be sure to stay tuned – I’ll be posting plenty on Intsagram 🙂 Today I’m sharing a look I’ve packed for our trip and the price tag will blow your socks off! Especially in Doha, I needed to find a few things that were mindful of covering my shoulders and knees – this Tassel Tied Embroidery Dress is the perfect dress that fits those needs…..and the needs of my wallet.

Embroidered Dress – This dress is a total steal for $40! It’s a great summer and fall pieces! Perfect for any vacation too!
Embellished Sandals – Love these sandals. I wore them back in the Spring (see here) while in Columbia.

We arrived to Doha yesterday – after the 12 hour flight we headed straight for the pool to try and cool off from the 100 degree temperatures. Listen, I thought to myself, how hot could that really be. Um it’s next level when you add 90% humidity. While I am sweating through everything, my skin looks great and dewy!
Today we are headed to the Souq to do a little sightseeing and shopping – I love exploring other countries and cultures! Here’s to hoping that we will pick up some goodies at the market. Last night we ate at Nobu, which is a sushi restaurant in the US – eating there is a must since there isn’t one near Chicago 🙂 Tonight we are eating at a local place![ezcol_1half]

[/ezcol_1half_end] This Tassel Tied Embroidery Dress was the perfect dress to wear around Doha in the extreme heat – at the same time, I wanted to be mindful of the local culture and make sure I had something that covered my shoulders. Aside from that, the $40 price tag made it hard to refuse! I know this is something I’ll keep in my wardrobe for a while. Because being extra these days is what it’s all about, I paired the look with my favorite embellished sandals from Zara – here are a similar pair.
