With Spring trying to breakthrough the Winter wall, I’ve finally made the choice to move all my Winter coats back to storage – I’m really hoping that it wasn’t bad taboo and that it doesn’t decide to drop 40 degrees and snow any time soon. If it does, I’m screwed or I’ll just be fashionably cold 🙂
Spring means it’s time for open knit sweaters, distressed denim and spring suede. This look captured all of my favorite spring trends and was the perfect look for our weekend getaway to Cape Cod. This J.O.A. Open Knit Fringe Sweater is the perfect transitional sweater and it won’t be the last time I wear it.
This look was the easiest weekend look and I would take it anywhere with me. I love it when a look does all the thinking and styling for me, especially when it’s a quick trip and I don’t have time to think when packing – ugh Im THE worst packer! This sweater is going to be a spring staple for me – I think the open knit work adds texture to the sweater (they are also sweat prevention holes) and the fringe just adds some fun detail! Who doesn’t like a little fringe right? For some color and play on textures, I added this spring suede jacket from SheIn thats under $50 – jackpot! I love a good sale, don’t you? Spring suede is taking fashion by storm this season and I can’t get enough of it! I mean who can resist a cream suede pencil skirt – not me. Or suede serenity blue booties – not me. Spring, you make me happy!
