[ezcol_1half]IMG_3856[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]IMG_3872[/ezcol_1half_end]Happy Monday! We are back from our trip and it feels so good to be home. I love traveling, but there is nothing like coming home and sleeping in your own bed – right?! Our trip was so amazing – we tour the area of Lecce and a few surrounding cities. It’s such an untapped touristy area that it was great to visit it! Today I’m sharing more pictures from Lecce, see the first photo diary here. We took a class in Lecce and learned how to make pasta! Ah! I wore this super easy short sleeve cotton shirtdress – it’s super chic, easy to wear and is easy for a great day of moving around![ezcol_1half]IMG_3881[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]IMG_3910[/ezcol_1half_end]This had to have been one of my favorite days in Italy. We explored Lecce some more, took a cooking class and then headed to a beach in the area. The cook class was so much fun! We learned how to make orecchiette pasta – I was amazed at how easy it was! Flour, water and a whole lot of kneeding.

It inspired me to go and purchase the special flour for the pasta so that I can make it at home! I mean, all I had to do was add water and voila! After we mastered orecchiette pasta, we learned how to make macaroni and some other variations of small pastas! After the pasta was all made, it was cooked and prepared for our lunch.[ezcol_1half]IMG_3893[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]IMG_3920[/ezcol_1half_end]I packed very strategically for this trip because I didn’t want to lug around my life and let’s be real, Italy was 1,000 degrees while we were there. This short sleeve cotton shirtdress from J.Crew was such a purchase for this trip and boy am I happy I got it! The color hid all the sweat for pedestrian sight and the lightness of the dress kept my sweating to a minimum.

I brought this bag literally every where we went – it’s a super lightweight bag that can hold just about anything. Usually when we’d leave the hotel in the morning it was for most of the day so I needed something to trek my life! The best part is that it’s under $30! Whoop! The style and coloring made it easy to pair with just about anything too![ezcol_1half]IMG_3915[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]IMG_3876[/ezcol_1half_end]Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day! More pictures from the trip coming your way soon – stay tuned!
