Headed to Palm Springs for a little fun in the sun, then Vegas for a work trip, followed by one of my bucket list locations….Page, AZ! Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend have been on my list for ages and I’m thrilled that we are finally going to make it there! It’s not the most convenient place to get to, but since we happened to be in Vegas for work, it all came together! Stay tuned for more! Today is all about capturing that Friday casual essence with this sage faux leather blazer and distressed dad jean look! We LIVE for the weekends, so why not live for our weekend wear! SAGE FAUX LEATHER BLAZER
Earlier this fall I spotted the most amazing color combination on a page – I found it so inspiring that I HAD to recreate it somehow. I searched high and low for a sage colored blazer. There was something about the color paired with neutrals, grey and navy that I had to have it! Not to mention it’s a great piece to have for both work and casual wear – the perfect day to night item! After many days I searching, I found this gorgeous sage faux leather blazer from Boohoo and the rest was history!
HOW TO STYLE IT
This blazer, under $75, looks and feels super luxe which is all I could ask for! Layered over this ribbed turtleneck, also from Boohoo, makes for the perfect layering color combination! Trying to capture all the weekend vibes, I style the blazer and turtleneck with my favorite distressed dad jeans from the Nordstrom Sale. They were sold out FOREVER, but they have finally been restocked! They have a very oversized fit, so I would go down two sizes if you feel comfortable with that! They are amazing and style well with sneakers and heels! There are so many denim trends this season from high-waisted denim, to cropped denim, to my personal favorite, the flare jean!
