Little Red Dress

Red Crochet Lace Overlay Bodycon Dress, Shanghai, Chicago Fashion Blogger, Travel Fashion, Suede JacketWell helllllllo hump day! There is nothing better than waking up on a Wednesday knowing it’s two days and counting until the weekend! We are back from China and are somewhat well rested – I’m missing the hustle and bustle of the city and the gorgeous views. Our hotel was right on the river so we were spoiled with the skyline views. We spent some time on the riverwalk enjoying both city skylines while I pranced around in this red crochet lace overlay body con dress. [ezcol_1half]Red Crochet Lace Overlay Bodycon Dress, Shanghai, Chicago Fashion Blogger, Travel Fashion, Suede Jacket[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]Red Crochet Lace Overlay Bodycon Dress, Shanghai, Chicago Fashion Blogger, Travel Fashion, Suede Jacket[/ezcol_1half_end]The weather in Shanghai was gorgeous and what normal people know as spring (em, Chicago, I’m looking at you). It was so refreshing, and fun, to be able to pack strapy sandals and dress without tights – it was liberating! I packed my favorite red lace dress that I scored last summer for a friends wedding – it’s the best $25 I’ve ever spent! It’s an easy dress to pack for so many different occasions – I love pairing it with some Stan Smith’s too for a fun casual look.

I layered this suede jacket over the dress to give it a fun edgy look – the dress can be quiet formal when worn alone so I needed something to dress it down in a way. My favorite piece of the whole look are these shoes – they remind me of the Valentino sandals without the studs. Did I mention that they are $25? Hm, you’re welcome. Red Crochet Lace Overlay Bodycon Dress, Shanghai, Chicago Fashion Blogger, Travel Fashion, Suede Jacket[ezcol_1half]Red Crochet Lace Overlay Bodycon Dress, Shanghai, Chicago Fashion Blogger, Travel Fashion, Suede Jacket[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]Red Crochet Lace Overlay Bodycon Dress, Shanghai, Chicago Fashion Blogger, Travel Fashion, Suede Jacket[/ezcol_1half_end]On this particular night we strolled along the river before our dinner reservations at Hakkassan where we stuffed our faces in some modern Cantonese fare. Check out my full story on Shanghai here – so much to see in so little time.

AND, if you are in Chicago this weekend, I’ll be at Lori’s Shoes on Saturday from 12pm – 4pm sharing some of the hottest trends in the store. Come by, lets meet, lets chat, lets shop! 1. Lady, this dress is stunning on you! I love that you paired it with brown tones. I ordered the same a few weeks back and was concerned the underlay would be too short so I’m glad to see it fits you really well! XO

  3. Hiya, I am really glad I have found this information. Today bloggers publish only about gossip and web stuff and this is really frustrating. A good site with interesting content, this is what I need. Thank you for making this web site, and I’ll be visiting again. Do you do newsletters by email?
