Because I sweat like an animal (the perfect way to start a blog post), wearing fall clothes hasn’t been an option at all. Or I’ve had to wear a variation of them so that I’m warm in the morning and cool in the afternoon. But, if thats the biggest problem I have to battle all day, then I’m a pretty lucky lady! Todays look capture everything that fall is about – deep rich tones and golden leaves! The parks in Chicago are so beautiful this time of year, it’s hard not to spend time wandering in them! This pleated chiffon dress from NA-KD and Topshop vest are the perfect pairing for these warm fall days – who wants to wear tights anyway!
There is something so romantic about the the rich colors of fall – it’s my favorite time of year for so many reasons. It also feels so short lived due to the holidays! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is in two weeks! Where did the time go? Before we know it will be Christmas then New Years ah! I’m not ready?! PS have any of your started shopping for gifts?
These Marc Fisher booties were likely the best purchase I’ve made all fall. They are similar to the Acne version but a fraction of the price. They pair well with just about every items in my closet and don’t cut off my legs when worn without tights. PS they look killer paired with a black skinny pant – think long long legs in seconds!
