So two days ago Summer finally arrived in Chicago – it rained and then boom, humidity thicker than pork belly bacon! I’m not complaining, I’ve just been waiting all summer for it! With Fall slowlllllly approaching I’m making a conscious effort to wear all my Summer prints before it’s too late – so, why not wear them at the same time. A little print on print action if you know what I mean!

Today I’m sharing a super fun look with some print on print action from LOFT and it all starts with this amazing LOFT triangle utility blouse that I would wear over and over and over again! It does well with so many other things, not just this skirt – my second favorite combo is some distressed denim! Today I paired the top with this perfectly printed skirt, also from LOFT. I’m going to let you in on a little secret……They are having a HUGE sale right now and you may or may not get this look for 50% off – I mean if you do, you certainly did better than me 🙂

It’s fun to pair two unexpected prints together – think outside the box and challenge yourself with a little print on print. I couldn’t turn away from this opportunity – they are a match made in print heaven. The accessories were second nature and added for elements of fun. Why wear neutral sunnies when you can wear turquoise sunnies – a purchase from our Milan trip a few months back.

  16. I honestly feel like my favorite print is flowery, but cute. Not a flowery print that’s like my grandma’s bedsheets but cute and bright flowery! You catch my drift…and honestly I haven’t been wearing too much of it because I’ve been in jeans all summer. Insane I know but there’s the lack of fashionista in me! xx
