Safari Stripes
Well Mondays are only tolerable with there is a sale – agree? I mean how else do you get through the day? For the past week Ann Taylor and LOFT and have been putting on some MAJOR sales with items up to the 60 – 70% off – I mean….they are practically allowing us to steal! While these sales are great, do you know what they truly mean? All of your favorite brands are making room for fall pieces – ahhhh, can you believe it? If I were to pick a favorite season for fashion it would be fall, but that doesn’t mean I’m ready for it!
Today’s look is a product from the LOFT summer sale – it’s still going on so stop what you are doing and get on it! I wore this look while in beautiful Rwanda – the backdrop and sunset was the perfect setting for any shoot. When packing for the trip, I needed to pack light and easy – much of what we did required specific clothing for our hikes. When we weren’t hiking, I wanted to wear simple pieces that were easy to wear, easy to pack and still allowed me to carry some sort of style. This dress was the perfect compromise between all of that.
On to the shoes – have you visited Naturalizer recently? In the past six months they have done a branding shift to a younger audience and have started to create on-trend footwear at an affordable price point – their moto? Fashion meets function. The thick straps, the chunky wedge and color detailing are perfect for this summers trends – I even plan to wear them straight into fall. I had those sunnies for a period of time, but I decided to give them back to Ditto. I wish I could keep all sunglasses because I seriously love sunglasses so much! Those shoes are adorable too & I may have to check out Naturalizer. Loving the stripey stripes! xx
