Maxing Out

Friyay!! Who is ready for the weekend like I am! I’m ready to kick back, cook on the grill and watch my Blackhawks kill it against Tampa Bay! Anyone watching the NHL playoffs? If there is one time of year to watch hockey – it’s now. It’s more nail biting than Pretty Little Liars! For real!

Today I’m sharing another look from our San Francisco trip (see post here) featuring this perfect LOFT maxi dress from their Lou & Grey line! You know that feeling of sleeping in jersey sheets? Well this dress provides that same comfort. I digress… Since it’s typically chilly in San Francisco this time of year, it was hard to pack things when all I wanted to do was pack my summer clothes – waaaaah. This dress was the perfect solution – it’s light, but long so I felt like I was wearing a summer fabric, but good enough to protect me from those Bay Area winds!

Aside from the fact that I found the perfect dress for our trip, I find myself slipping on a maxi dress every other day during the summer – you know, for those non-shave days. You feel me? They are perfect for any occasion and can be dressed up or dressed down with the right accessories. A casual day of sightseeing and lots of walking called for sandals (ones with tassels, duh) and the perfect distressed denim top (to keep me from complaining to Brian about the cold weather).
