  1. This post is awesome and unique! I don’t think I’ve ever read tips on how to vase flowers, but boy do I need it!
I feel like I always do it wrong and they flop around the vase and don’t fit in correctly…and then they die fast! Great tips…and gorgeous photos!!

  2. Love the photos here because I am SUCH a big fan of flowers. Literally I walk around my neighborhood, my work office, and everywhere and just take the pictures of flowers and save them for Instagram. I don’t know if it’s a problem or just really awesome but I love it 🙂 xx

  3. so cute and I love those vases you linked from Target! I read the post and I especially loved the headings. Don’t get sharp with me!! hahaha so fun! I never buy flowers and only get them on special occasions but I love having them around the house! I need to send this to my parents because they have rose bushes everywhere!

  4. Love having fresh flowers in my house! Now that I live with my boyfriend I’m trying to get my green thumb going, so far the only thing I can keep alive are these two giant mums I got last fall. All my herbs I’ve tried to grow have died within the month. ha

  5. I love these tips! As a wedding florist, I totally agree that EVERYONE should purchase a pair of floral shears, they’re not expensive and you never know when you might get some fresh flowers!

  6. We have 9 flower gardens in our backyard. Not kidding! We inherited them from the previous owners. There are so many different flowers and I cut them ALL THE TIME and put them in our home!! It’s so wonderful having fresh cut flowers! <3

  7. Okay this is so perfect! These are the things I always want to know but am too embarrassed to ask my mom because she’s so good at all of the gardening/flower boutiques

  8. Beautiful and you did a great job showcasing how to style a vase of flowers using different size/shaped vases. By the way…I sooooo enjoyed your RS takeover…you looked so chic and you really showcased Chicago beautifully…BRAVO lady!
