Happy Wednesday friends!!! I’m still in Chicago enjoying some quality time with friends, family and sneaking in a little work here and there. This week I got to shoot for a fun project with Melissa from Iron and Honey – I’ll share more details later! Last night I went to an amazing dinner with Elizabeth Arden learning about their cult favorite and new products! I can’t wait to try their new Vitamin C capsules! With fall somewhat creeping around the corner, I thought I’d mix a little fall fashion in to todays look! I worked in the corporate world for 10+ years and it was hard to find pieces that you easily transition to other things throughout your day. Today’s look is all about those easy, affordable and work appropriate pieces that help you create a look for work to happy hour!

For today’s post, I’ve partnered with JCPenny to put together the perfect look for work to happy hour! I know we all find ourselves in those moments of “I have nothing to wear?!?” – especially when you have plans post work, you want to put your best food forward in both places! I tried to create a look that you could feel comfortable wearing at work and using those pieces for other occasions! BUT, before I go on any further, I do want to share that this ENTIRE look is under $100! How amazing is that!!
LOOK FOR WORK TO HAPPY HOUR
Of course it’s no secret that these Wide Leg Pants in leopard print are MY FAVORITE! Leopard is is trending and has been trending! While the entire pant is covered in the print, it’s not in your face. There is a subtly to the print making them easy to wear throughout your closet. A high waisted wide leg pant is super flattering on all body types and I love that this pair has a built in belt for styling ease! You can style these pants with wedges and a bodysuit for the weekend!
There is something so chic and sleek about a Mock Turtleneck. This Mock Turtleneck is only $12 and can easily be styled through your workwear wardrobe – not to mention, it’s super comfortable!! Being that I didn’t want to overpower the leopard pants, I styled the look with a perfect pair of Nude Heels that are easy to wear all day! When accessorizing, I had to style the look with this adorable Crossbody Bag – the chain link detailing is super fun!!
Thank you to JCPenny for sponsoring this post – all thoughts and opinions are my own.
