Off the Shoulder

This Chicago heat wave (40 degrees) has got me wearing ripped jeans and off-the shoulder tops all day. I’m fighting winter with my cold shoulders and right now, I’m winning. Ask me in two days how I actually feel when its 6 degrees outside. While the winter continues to confuse us all, I will continue to scare it off with my wardrobe.

This Hiatus Ribbed off-the-shoulder top is the perfect casual piece that jumps easily from day to night. It’s chic, sexy and easy to wear. Here I paired it with my favorite, and recently go-to distressed denim pants from Blank NYC – they are so comfortable and I really like the wash of the denim. Fashion is all about being comfortable and wearing pieces that are easy and ready to-go. Sometimes we don’t have time to wait for a dinner to cook for 60 minutes, so it’s always good to have an Easy Bake solution – you like that analogy?IMG_3951

IMG_3991Any big plans for the weekend? Since the polar vortex will be in Chicago I plan to catch up on all things DVR and On Demand. Have you ever watched the show Made In Chelsea? It’s fabulous! It’s like the Hills, but with British accents and better. I discovered on a work trip to the UK once and now I’m hooked. There are 10 seasons and through six – so many shows, so little time.

And what’s a Sunday Funday without shopping? Some fabulous bloggers and I have teamed up to giveaway these amazing Stuart Weitzman sandals! Enter to win below!Stuart Weitzman Giveaway

Have a great weekend!

  1. You look absolutely stunning & I love your makeup in this shoot specifically. The liner really brings out your eyes & this off the shoulder top is GORGEOUS! Excuse me while I go find one online for myself. xx

  2. It’s super cute, of course, and it also looks comfy! And you’re right – I could so see it going from this casual day look to a night look paired with tights or a pencil skirt.
