Gift Wrapping Ideas with Marshalls
It’s the final countdown friends! Ah! Can you believe it! Only a few more sleeps until Christmas and if you are like me, you have a few more people to shop for! Anytime I’m in a pinch I ALWAYS head straight to Marshalls to find a surprise for that special someone. I ONLY shop for my wrapping paper at Marshalls – why? It’s just better and the selection is so large to choose from there are so many options!
This year I stuck with a plaid theme for my wrapping color scheme – yes, I have a wrapping color scheme. Why not? Everything under the tree looks that much prettier when it has a consistent feel! So I bought pretty much all the plaid there was and went home to wrap! Todays post is all about gift wrapping ideas with Marshalls and finding those last minute gifts!

I’m able to spend $20 on beautiful paper, ribbon and kraft boxing and decorate it to make it look like $100! I found these adorable kraft boxes at Marshalls – they are actually for desserts, but I took out the cupcake tray insert and dressed the box with candy cane tissue paper, also from Marshalls.
There were so many good ribbon selections this season I didn’t know where to start! I picked up this stunning black and red plaid to pair with two of the plaid paper prints. I then found this adorable “Don’t open until December 25” ribbon that has a vintage feel and paired perfectly with the kraft boxes. The kraft boxes came with bows, but I opted to tie my own. Why not dress your presents like you’d dress yourself 🙂After I found all the wrapping goodies and ribbon I needed, I was off to find some gifts for coworkers and friends. I think a holiday candle is a great gift this time of year and who doesn’t love the smell of pine! It’s fills your home and gives it that amazing fresh pine scent and keeps Christmas alive forever! I picked up a few candles for friends and then headed to the cooking section for some coworkers.
Baking is a natural habit around the holiday season and cookies is at the top of the list! Marshalls had a great selection of holiday cookie mix, cookie cutters and of course, sprinkles! I picked up a few of each and made my coworkers some holiday baking kits. There is a nostalgia around holiday baking cookies and decorating with the family – you can do the same with any other baking element and throw in a few baking essentials for the experience. I spent about $10 on each gift which was perfect![ezcol_1half][/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end][/ezcol_1half_end]In Chicago, winter weather accessories are always welcomed as the perfect gift! I love finding colorful sscarves and hats to be paired with my winter wear, because in Chicago thats all we got! It’s so cold here for 4 straight months that it’s easy to get sucked in to wearing black all the time! I found some cute knit hats with colorful poms, so on trend for this season, and tossed them in with my gifts as well. You can never go wrong with gifting a winter wear for the holiday season!Wishing you all a happy week! The countdown to Christmas can always be a little crazy so remember to take a step back and reflect otherwise you’ll miss out on the holiday cheer 🙂 A BIG thank you to Marshalls for sponsoring this post – all thoughts are my own.
