Casual Friday: With the Lake Show!

As the Sportsanista, I will not miss an opportunity to casually mix in a sport tank/tee in my normal wear. This Lakers tee is dope y’all. The vintage look of the tee made it easy to pair with my favorite Spring items!!! Military jacket, florals and metallics. I mean really, my outfit it a melting pot of Spring fashion. Secret on the flower….it’s a ghetto-rigged DIY. I bought a few flowers from Etsy to make pins to  add to my everyday casual and work looks. It worked out great, until I forgot my mother has my glue gun. Fear not, I do not take no for an answer! As an avid dry cleaner, I have collected a number of safety pins over the years, like some safety pin hoarder. If anything, the safety pins justify, in my brain, that “it’s ok it cost $10 to wash one dress….”

Anyway, back to my long winded point….

I took a safety pin and attached it to the plastic portion of the backing on the flower. Cake. Magic. The pin is alive! My favorite is the contrast between the flower and the military jacket. Masculine meets feminine. Love it!
