Devil in a Blue Dress

Blue Lapel Contrast Sheer Mesh Lace Dress IMG_7782 IMG_7788 IMG_7794 IMG_7798 IMG_7800 IMG_7801 IMG_7820

Guess what friends?! It’s Wednesday and Friday is in sight! Woooooo! Typically on Monday at 5pm, I’m always ready for the weekend, anyone else? So Fall went away for a quick period of time here in Chicago, giving me enough time to bare my legs and raise the bar a little bit, or in this instance, the hem 🙂

Today I’m sharing another fun look from SheIn with this blue lapel contrast sheer mesh lace dress – one of my go-to shopping places lately. It’s a great place to find really inexpensive trend pieces that you can get some great use out of! This dress is actually inspired by it’s sister dress from Self Portrait (a brand that makes all things gorgeous and in lace).

This lace dress will make many appearances this winter too and can easily be paired with tights and boots – I don’t have the heart to the put this in the back of the closet to collect dust during the winter. Here I wore the look sans the hotbox we call tights and paired with some easy and simple accessories. The dress does the talking and the walking! These round toe flats were the perfect shoe to compliment this dress, on this occasion – the round toe gives the look a completely different appeal and makes me want to go skipping down the street with a balloon 🙂

Thanks for reading and have a great Wednesday!
