Pretty Patterns

[ezcol_1half]20160205-41[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]20160205-42[/ezcol_1half_end]Monday is here and I’m a happy camper. Why? My happy camping ass has been sitting on a beach since Saturday and life couldn’t be sweeter. It’s so delightful getting a taste of spring and I never want to leave! Thankfully the weather back home in Chicago has been placing nice – of course, when I’m not there. This weather has sprouted some inspiration in my fashion and has created a good reason to start wearing some fun patterns like this black white abstract print dress.20160205-47Spring does wonders for my psyche and generally thaws the ice queen in me that was there all Winter. I start to veer away from all black looks to more lighter / neutral pieces that create a happy glow – can anyone relate? This black white abstract print dress is the perfect transition piece for someone who doesn’t want to make the full leap in to the Spring palate, but wants to stay in the comfort zone of their Winter palate. Not only is the pattern and print just adorable, this dress is $19.99 – yes, you’re welcome. Fashion that is friendly in more than one way – I like it. [ezcol_1half]20160205-43[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]20160205-44[/ezcol_1half_end]For fun, I added this neck tie (also worn here) to accessorize the dress without jewelry. It’s give the dress a fun little twist in a muted way. These oxfords have been a go-to for me this Winter and are super easy to pair with just about anything – I’m loving the back-to-school feel this look is giving me. To top the look off, I added this small crossbody from Linea Pelle – I love the simplicity of the bag, but the detailing makes it seem like so much more!

Happy Monday and thanks for reading!20160205-46[ezcol_1half]20160205-50[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]20160205-48[/ezcol_1half_end]20160205-49
