That 70’s Show

Bell Botton Jeans, Shein White Lace Top, Ann Taylor Faux Fur Coat, 70s style fashionHellllooooooo Monday! I’m not sure if I’m happy to see you or not. My alarm this morning certainly didn’t make me the happiest person, but I pulled my ass out of bead and headed straight to Soul Cycle for a 6am class. That is the definition of rise and grind friends!

Today’s look has me all sorts of giddy! I love it when a trend is cyclical and the 70s are back my friends! Spring suedesfringebell bottom pants and psychedelic prints are taking street style by storm and I couldn’t be more excited! The 70s were a fun and relaxing time, so I’ve heard, and the fashion during that time emulated just that – this is my homage to 70s style fashion.[ezcol_1half]Bell Botton Jeans, Shein White Lace Top, Ann Taylor Faux Fur Coat, 70s style fashion[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]Bell Botton Jeans, Shein White Lace Top, Ann Taylor Faux Fur Coat, 70s style fashion[/ezcol_1half_end]I love the way a good bell bottom can make your legs look two feet longer than they actually are. Whats better than that? A high-wasited bell that makes your legs look three feet longer. I bought these jeans ages ago, when bells were huge in the mid-2000’s. I think they were the first pair of designer denim pants I purchased on my broke college budget – even then I had my priorities straight. Bell Botton Jeans, Shein White Lace Top, Ann Taylor Faux Fur Coat, 70s style fashionI’ve been looking for ways to style this gorgeous lace top (since it fits more like a crop top) and a high-waisted pant was the way to go! I added a nude came underneath for some protection and I was good to – an easy fix! Since the temps here in Chicago are still a little brisk, this Ann Taylor faux fur coat was the perfect layering piece to my 70s look! It’s currently sold out, but I found one just like it here.  [ezcol_1half]Bell Botton Jeans, Shein White Lace Top, Ann Taylor Faux Fur Coat, 70s style fashion[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]Bell Botton Jeans, Shein White Lace Top, Ann Taylor Faux Fur Coat, 70s style fashion[/ezcol_1half_end]Finally, these shoes. I’ve been obsessed with them since the fall and when I wore them in Redbook (see here). They completely embody the 70s and are the perfect transition shoe this season – whoever said you can’t wear suede in the spring is sooooooo wrong. What’s your favorite trend this spring?Bell Botton Jeans, Shein White Lace Top, Ann Taylor Faux Fur Coat, 70s style fashion[ezcol_1half]Bell Botton Jeans, Shein White Lace Top, Ann Taylor Faux Fur Coat, 70s style fashion[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]Bell Botton Jeans, Shein White Lace Top, Ann Taylor Faux Fur Coat, 70s style fashion[/ezcol_1half_end]
